The Millerton Residence

Built from the ground up, the house sleeps 11+2 and is big and bold with a pool, play room, sport court and playground on 100 acres of land. The floor-to-ceiling windows at the rear look out to trees and nature with views of the distant Catskills. In summer you can explore nearby trails, splash in the pool, barbecue in the backyard or pick veggies from the organic garden. In winter, go sledding or ski, grab a bite to eat in town, and cuddle up to drink cocoa by the fire.

The residence is near the village of Millerton, in upstate New York. Town has a book store, toy store, public library, small movie house, great coffee shop and diner. This house is an active child's dream, featuring a pool, sports court with tennis, basketball and volleyball, and a playground with a swing set, slides and a trampoline. Adjacent to the main pool there is a separate in-ground baby pool for toddlers to splash around in comfortably, which can be filled up to a few inches deep at your discretion. On rainy days, there’s ample running space inside and a playroom. A bedroom downstairs would be suitable for a nanny. If you venture into town, the local movie theater often shows a kids’ film and there are kid-friendly restaurants and cafes. Alternatively, you can hop in the car to check out activities at local farms that include rides, attractions, hay rides, live music, apple and pumpkin picking and seasonal-themed photo ops and face painting.
