Pascal Jolivet Pouilly-Fume 2017

The Pascal Joliver Pouilly Fume 2017 is a classic from this appellation. On the nose, the intense bouquet reveals aromas of citrus with an emblematic smoky, flinty characteristic. On the palate, this Pouilly Fume shows off a medium-to-full-bodied texture, bold flavors of citrus and a long, persistent and very clean finish. A great glass of wine to enjoy in its youth, either on its own or paired with goat cheese, another specialty of this region.

“Vibrant yellow color with restrained aromas of citrus, apple and flint. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc is precise and layered with clean, driving acidity, elegance and finesse.”

Region: Pouilly-Fume, Loire, France

Massican "Annia" Napa Valley White Blend 2017

The 2017 vintage in Napa will always be remembered because of the wildfires that began on the evening of Sunday, October 8. Massican was very fortunate that not only were all of its grapes harvested before the fires broke out but also that the vineyards were spared from harm. However, Massican cannot say that for all its neighbors who have been impacted by this tragedy. The ANNIA in this vintage shows the quiet side of her persona an opportunity to remain thoughtful and thankful for all the good graces Massican receives not only this year but every year. #86 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2018 #24 Wine Enthusiast Top 100 of 2018 (Winemakers Notes)

*#24 Wine of 2018* This is a refreshingly stunning blend of 55% Ribolla Gialla, 39% Tocai Friulano and 6% Chardonnay, the latter (from Hyde Vineyard) finding unexpected companionship with its Napa-grown Italian counterparts. Waxy and floral, it tastes of green apple and white peach with a plush midpalate and lasting tension of vibrant acidity. (VB) (9/2018) (94 points - Wine Enthusiast)

A complex and inviting white, showing intricate nuances of roasted almond, matcha, honeysuckle and orange zest, mingling with supple, juicy Asian pear, tangerine and ripe melon notes. The smooth texture and a thread of acidity add to the appeal. (MW) (11/2018) (Wine Spectator - 92 points)

Merry Edwards Sauvignon Blanc 2017

The bright, shimmering, green-gold hue of this Sauvignon Blanc is a visual overture to a striking personality. Its enticing aroma is highly perfumed with honeysuckle, citrus blossom, white rose and gardenia. Honeydew melon, nectarine, ripe Rainier cherry, tangerine, Kaffir lime and summer hay add complexity, along with hints of sweet oak and toasted hazelnut. On the palate, vibrant acidity is finely balanced with a rich, creamy mouthfeel creating a unique textural experience — reminiscent of a refreshing blood orange sorbet. The finish is broad and lingers with sweet pink grapefruit and Meyer lemon zest. (Winemaker Notes)

Region: Willamette Valley, Oregon
Varietal: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Price: $45

Domaine Eve et Michel Rey 'Aux Charmes' Pouilly-Fuisse 2016

If the "Aux Charmes" vineyard address were 30 miles to the north, this wine would be at least twice the price. It’s that good. Pear and white peach overtones are lifted by roasted hazelnuts and toast – a notably rich counterpoint to its essential core of Burgundian verve. There are but a few rare patches of earth capable of yielding such pleasure. Bravo to the husband-and-wife team of Eve and Michel Rey! (Bounty Hunter Wines)

Region: Pouilly-Fuisse, Burgundy, France
Varietal: 100% Chardonnay
Price: $35

Lioco Wine Chardonnay 2017

A selection of complementary Sonoma County vineyards compose this wine, with an emphasis on the Russian River Valley. While each site is distinct, they share a common commitment to sustainable horticulture and strident farming. Our intention for this wine is to express the unique character of this region. Warm days and cool nights, tempered by consistent oceanic fog, yield nuanced chardonnays balanced by brisk acidity.

This wine has an aroma of lemon oil, loquat, and quartz. The flavor is reminiscent of fennel bulb, key lime, and chamomile. (Winemakers Notes)

Region: Sonoma County, California
Varietal: 100% Chardonnay
Price: $23

CADE Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2018

The 2018 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of orange blossom, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, lime, yellow apple, and stone fruits. On the palate are notes of tangerine, white peach, lychee, citrus, banana, lemon zest, and grapefruit. The wine has a vibrant acidity, minerality, and a touch of creaminess on the finish. By fermenting the wine in stainless steel, French oak, and concrete, CADE builds layers of complexity in the wine. The barrel fermentations add texture, density, and viscosity to the mid-palate of the wine. The concrete adds a touch of flint and minerality to the finish as well as adding some mid-palate richness. The stainless steel fermentations preserve the natural Sauvignon Blanc aromatics and the vibrant acidity and crispness. (Winemakers Notes)

Region: Napa Valley, CA
Varietal: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Price: $40

Craggy Range Winery Te Muna Road Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2018

From the lower terrace of our Te Muna Road Vineyard in Martinborough, this wine is sourced exclusively from several parcels of vines growing on stony, limestone influenced soils. Pale lemon straw. Vibrant aromas of nectarine, green apple, honeysuckle and a hint of nettle. Lovely precision on the palate with a core of zesty fruit and a long satisfyingly dry textural finish. (Winemaker Notes)

Peach, pear and pineapple flavors are fresh and juicy in this white, with accents of honeysuckle and fresh ginger that linger on the smooth and refreshing finish. (Wine Spectator - 90 Points)

Matthiasson Napa Valley White 2015

This is a very intentional blend of four varieties from two vineyards. The Sauvignon blanc brings a clean fresh citrusy acidity and some tropical character. The Ribolla Gialla brings seashell minerality, nuttiness, and structure to the blend. The Semillon contributes viscosity and waxiness that adds gravity and weight. The Tocai Friulano adds spicy aromatic notes. The acidity and fruit expression is balanced by a rich lees character and a faint backdrop of creamy oak. There is interplay in the wine between lightness and richness, and focus and complexity.

The 2015 White Wine has its trademark spice and mineral quality, with slightly less acid and extra flesh from the warm vintage. The rich Semillon really shined in 2015. Flavors include the trademark white peach, kafir lime, lychee nut, beeswax, ripe fig, and pineapple, with prominent wet stones, oyster shells, and freshly baled straw.

Region: Napa Valley, California
Varietal: 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 25% Ribolla Gialla, 20 5 Semillon, 5% Tocai Friulano
Price: $40

Eisele Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2017

The nose displays an intense bouquet of guava and tropical fruits with a hint of gooseberry, then opens up to Meyer lemons zest and mineral notes. The intensity and freshness are extraordinary. The palate is suave and focused, savory, almost salty. Tension and minerality carry through the lingering finish. Our favorite vintage of Sauvignon Blanc to date.

This is a real step up from previous vintages…Satin texture and a fantastic intensity of exuberant citrus fruits and mineral notes.” (Wine Advocate)

Varietal: 81% Sauvignon Blanc Musqué, 19% Sauvignon Blanc
